Speaking at the opening of the Forum together with Moldovan Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba, Minister of Culture Sergiu Prodan, Secretary of State, Ministry of Health Alexandru Gasnaş, Deputy Director of the United States Agency for International Development John Riordan, Founding and Honorary Chairman of the GHTC Emin Çakmak and President of the Moldovan Health Tourism Council Dr. Natalia Ciobanu, President of the Global Healthcare Travel Council Dr. Ahmet Savaşan emphasized that they made great efforts to develop international cooperation by establishing sincere relations with each of the member countries.

Savaşan explained that the Global Healthcare Travel Council (GHTC) is a multinational organization that provides leadership and support to the sector in advancing health tourism policies internationally, advocating responsibilities in health tourism and promoting health tourism as a driving force towards economic growth, inclusive development and environmental sustainability. He also pointed out that the Council strengthens its capacity and effectiveness every year through important and meaningful collaborations.

Dr. Savaşan emphasized that the Moldova Health Tourism Council organized a successful Forum under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova, with the strategic partnership of the United States Agency for International Development, and through the support of the Global Healthcare Travel Council, and brought together internationally successful scientists and health tourism professionals. Dr. Savaşan expressed his belief that the International Forum, which managed to bring together the pioneering participants of the sector, will contribute to the development of global cooperation in the field of health tourism.
